Meet Dr. Trennepohl
Dr. Alec Trennepohl was first introduced to chiropractic during high school when he felt God calling him to care for people through an alternative approach to modern medicine. After researching various areas of holistic health, he found that chiropractic care made the most sense to him because it supports the body’s ability to heal in a natural yet profound way. After suffering a back injury in college and discovering that chiropractic care was the only treatment that allowed him to fully heal, his path in chiropractic was officially forged. Through chiropractic, he found a career that allows him to do the things he loves while helping others do the same.
Dr. Alec first earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science: Therapeutic Sciences from Liberty University, where he gained valuable knowledge of exercise and its role as a therapeutic intervention as well as learning about the intricacies of human anatomy from a Biblical worldview. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus, where he developed a passion for specific adjusting techniques, particularly the Gonstead technique. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Alec was an active member of the Gonstead Club and was accepted into the radiology program as a Clinical Radiology Assistant, where he became proficient in performing and interpreting X-rays. Upon graduation, he was recognized as Student Clinic Intern of the Month for August 2025, graduated with Academic Excellence Honors, and was named Co-Valedictorian of his class.
When he is not in the clinic, Dr. Alec enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife, Caisey, and their two dogs. They love being outdoors and enjoy hiking, fishing, and paddleboarding. Dr. Alec and his wife enjoy staying active, and he also has a passion for motorsports and hobby blacksmithing.
